Hello guys,

I have ordered my aquarium and cabinet.

The details:

Aquarium

60" (L) x 30" (W) x 24" (H)

12mm

Euro-braced

Cabinet

60" (L) x 30" (W) x 38" (H) (additional height was to cater for skimmer height)

Sump / refugium

36" (L) x 24" (W) x 18" (H)

Equipment bought so far

Water circulation:

Primary

1. Eheim 1262 (3400L)

2. Laguna Utility (4850 L)

Secondary

3. Seio 820

4. Aquanic 3000

Lighting:

1. Arcadia MH Pendant - 3 Series (2x 150watts + 2 x 30watts)

Skimmer:

1. Macro Venturi Protein Skimmer

Planning to DIY:

1. Calcium Reacor

Using Existing (2215 canister + Co2 disfusser + Co2 gas tank) - not sure it will work.

2. Chemical media

Using Existing 2215 canister

Equipment planning to get/use:

1. Aquamedic Turboflotor 1000 Multi SL with 2500 Ocean Runner

2. Outdoor compressor with indoor heat exchanger - chiller (1HP)

3. Existing Macro Denitrator

Great another guyz into huge Marine tank. Look forward to your pictures.

Pardon me for saying this, reckon that the secondary circulation maynot be enough to push the water for a 5' tank. My tank is barely 4' x 1' and I am using a tunze 6060 for circulation. My return is sicce extreme.

tunze expensive. I am from KL.

any suggestions?
