DC Cooling fans

I'm thinking of getting 80mm dc fans, but dunno how many i need. one or two?

i got a 2ft tank with 2ft sump. Think total should be abt 100l of water.

anyone here using fans to cool down your water can help me?

i think it is better u get the planted tank DC fan.. For a 2ft tank... 1 of it will be enough and only cost 10 - 20+ only and it life span is longer

why the planted tank d/c fan? what's the diff bro? hmm.. am also thinking of changing fans. my oceanfree (2fans) are bloody noisy. haha.

i got this info from a friend who kept a 4ft planted tank using PL light..

he told me that those computer 50mm - 120mm dc fans dun reali work veri well and then to break down after a short period of time ... therefore he got a planted dc fan from a local fish shop.. from his observation, the fan is more powerful, quieter and so far it didnot break down ..( around 6 mths liao..n still going)

erm... servers one is 120mm ones?

I just plan on keeping the temp at abt 27C, too powerful a fan not so good for me cos my tank 2ft + sump only later the salinity fluctuate too much

and ya.. are the fans able to create the rippling effects for the tank?

get a auto water top-up lor.. if u getting a fan..

yes if your fan powerful enough it will creat rippling effects.
