MD40

just setup a MD40 to my mini beckett and find that a sharp noise is coming out from the pump every 30sec.. Is there any service center available?

Futhermore, it leaking from one of the nut .. one drop every 1min...

Try cleaning it. The noise from my MD55 will go off after I dismantle and clean it.

I believe the "sharp" noise comes from the bearing.

This is just time bomb waiting for failure only. Get is changed ASAP

As for the leak, you gotta open up and check the O-ring. Is this a 2nd hand pump?

Try taking out all the screws.

Do not tighten the each screw at 1 shot, spread out the tightening from screw to screw.

no use leh.. try taking in and out 10 times liao.. tried all sort of tighten method but the noise is still there!

The noise is due to the bearing, most probably the one at the rear near the fan (there's two bearing in the MD40 BTW).

You only took out the front impellor casing. Like the rest said, either the O-ring not seat properly or the 6 screws are not tighten evenly.

Is this a new MD40? I would return it and ask for a new one if there's any warranty. It'll fail soon for sure
