anyway guys, as i said, decided to opt my 2nd option, bought a 2nd hand beckett(almost new ) n the best part of it, it cost me far from near to what the hns offer i got earlier....

Check out the price of a new H&S skimmer. Don't blame the person... the price of a new H&S now is $1000+

actually that time when i bought mine under the bundled-3-units-at-special price....price of brand new selling by itself alone was past 1k also....just that i managed to find another 2 reefers in here to get the bundled price so it was pretty much cheaper

no one is blaming the seller lah...he got the right to price it at any figure he wants that time i also wanted to sell around 600plus....end up saw the past sales threads of the same skimmer and the price seemed to settle around $500...so i sold to the reefer at this price

but glad spawns got himself a new skimmer already..

The prices of HS is pretty staggering. The HS external for 400 L (A2000 I think) was $850!

But you pay that price for the support from SL (spare parts, etc) plus guaranteed performance.
