Hi..

I have discovered some coco worms growing on one of my smaller (palm size) liverock.

I am planning for a tank rescaping... am afraid that during the course of rescaping, will surely "accidentially" kill them.

Wonder if i were to move this piece of rock into my sump can the coco worm survive? my sump do not have lights turn on... as such most of the time it will be in the dark...

you won't kill them if you take particular attention to them when you re aquascape. why leave them in the sump. let them thrive in the display tank. they dun come cheap you know?

yes.. i think you are right. As long as i give more attention to that piece of rock. they should be ok when rescaping.

will take your advise... thank you.

Lucky thing, you...I bought mine for $28, but I heard they do not fare well in captivity.

you can try placing them at low flow area and lesser light. they will stand better chance

currently the rock is positioned in a way that is has min water current. the current is not strong cos' when their "feather / crown" ? extended out of their white calcium tube body .. i can see it swing a little left and right.. so i guess should be alright..

as for light wise... its under semi-shady area cos' got other bigger liverock above them..

just hope that they can survive and grow to adult size..
