Alternate pump for Aquamedic Floater?

Hi Guys,

My skimmer's pump is having mechincal problem and it's kind of expensive to purchase the same pump agin (aquabee 2000)... so thinking whether out on the market if any pumps(best with needle wheel) that I could use to replace aquabee?

If its noisy, then try changing the rubber bush on the 2 ends of the shaft. Inspect the impeller for any damage also. Stock needle wheel pumps of good quality are not easy to get.

Thanks. Noticed noise coming out from the pump and thread on the impeller. By the way, any ideas where to get Rio pump with needle wheel?

You can get a replacement from AquaMedic agent here if it is within the warranty period of 12 months from date of purchase.
