Requirements For Keeping Christmas Tree Worm

hey...Saw some very nice christmas tree worms and tempted. So colourful but must know the specs first.

Need advice on

1) water conditions?

2) light requirements

3) Compatible fish

Good to know that you are researching first before buying! Good example to all the newbies here!

Bum's right... x'mas tree worms are hosted by porites corals. These corals are SPS corals and require strong to intense lighting. If the coral dies, so will the worms.

The worms themselves are filter feeders, so plankton is the food to feed.

Hurry hurry! Get those MHs in there! And get your naughty fishes out... or they will bite off the crowns off your x'mas tree worms!

Nvm leave the fish there to eat the worm then later become "BOTAK" WORM :eyebrow::eyebrow: :eyebrowhey good luck keeping those worms

AHahhaa...I'm first! :evil:

But actually whether the worm depends on the porites is still a controversial issue. Not enough research has been done on whether the worm benefits from the porites yet. I think... :angel:

Always something more important than fish.
