Oh is it? I must have been duped..

Fortunately, they were given free to me by a relative who got it off an oil rig that came in to Singapore for some repair.

i heard ppl saying some jettys have sun corals growing on the support pillars or something, guess ur relative must have sharp eyes to spot them

The "restaurant" view... (This side is facing the dining table)

The right side of the pic is rather dark as I am running a phase/staggard lightning with 2 x 250W MH ..ie simulating day rise/noon/sun set.

Sequence is as follows:

10am : 2 x T5 Actinic blue on

3pm : 1 x 250W MH on (right)

5pm : 1 x 250W MH on (left)

6pm : 1 x 250W MH off (right)

10pm : 1 x 250W MH off (left)

12pm: 2 x T5 off

Total lights ( Actinic blue = 14 hrs / MH = 7hrs)

So far the corals and ls are enjoying this light sequence and also able to keep algae growth to the minium.

Any comments on this ??

think you lighting plan is good... it hurts running 2 x 250W for 8 hours At least you have 1 hour of intense lighting (noon) I will do the same too if I have 2 MH to play with
