Situation:

2 guests in town on Valentines' Day. Swiss guy, hence not too adventurous with food. Dont like eating with hands, if you know what i mean.

Budget:

$150 per head

Suggestions?

I've tried making reservations but most places are having VD specials.

PS: VD is not V Disease ;)

must it be formal for a business dinner? if not juz bring them to local hawker centres...... Newton is catered for such an event. :P

Yeah, but Newton sometimes very dirty... not a good way to showcase our country! :P Although most of the places ARE dirty!

I figure it will be nice to show them our local stuff. A nice air conditioned restaurant or those at Changi or East Coast (beach side) will be great- cool breeze, great food, fair price. Then spend the rest of the budget on ....erhemm.. KTV. :)

there's a jap rest @ the edge of club st called Ikukan. specialises in grilled stuff (eg, steak, chicken and fish). and ambience is formal enuff to talk abt biz and yet cosy enuff to chill. price wise, abt 50-60 per pax. nothin' fancyful. so i guess wld be quite appropriate.
