Found my regal tang dead, few inches away from the anemones. The rest of the fishes still OK and swimming happily. Just bought only last friday together with a YT. YT is fine and eating well. Wonder, did the blue tang fight with the anemones and got stung to death, any experts know?

any bro keep blue tang for about 6month or more?

YT is aggressive... last to add in to the tank...

if u add YT first.. the whole tank will belong to him... correct me if i am wrong...

One of the most common tang around. so many ppl have so many for years. i think u are badly mistaken

gd quality of water? mean nitrite 0 ammonia 0 ... ph constant for 8.3 ?temperature 27.5 degree celsius...

i dont dare to keep it.. cause i kill it... before..

Ph will never be constant 8.3 .

that is perfect quality not good quality. just dun let nitrates rise too much. temp flux too much. water clear and clean. good skimmer etc. theres many fish in the market harder to keep than a regal

with adequate filtration. topup only what evaoprates.. do regular water changes etc. u can read it everywhere. dun need to ask here.

Think, Regal tang, powder blue all belongs to the difficult to keep fishes, OK will stay away from them for the moment, until enuff experience and bigger tank then try. Still nobody can help me to clarify if anemones can kill fishes

eh i have kept aq blue tang for ard 1 year and sold away............ Anyway blur tang does ge ich easily but recover from ich easily too................

It might be due to cynide poisoning......... BTW whats your water parameter like..........
