these anemone are my dream anemone. I have only read so much about them from here:

http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Di....cfm?pCatId=615

Other than some other website that tells me how much they cost and thier stock level.

I hope to know more about them before any atempt to keep them. any one got experiences with it? Thanks

Hi,

I have kept a purple carpet anemone before. Now already uplorry cos got caught in my Tunze - so u need to be careful as they tend to move around.

Luckily, I discovered it early otherwise my whole tank may have crashed.

Also, this anemone is also known to eat small fishes and shrimps.

Take my advise, don't try to keep it.

What happen to me is that it killed my blue tang, yellow and pupple tang.

You can feel that it's so sticky to your hand, witness my fish caught one by one by this fellow, i even had a hard time trying to release the fish from it, in the end the whole tang was stinged to death eventhough I can release it.

This carpet will hide it's base in hole of LR, and extend big ready to prey. I was so pissed until I use a plastic bag to cover the LR, forcing it to move away. Finally it moved to the sandbed where I can finally remove it..

Tank 4x2x2.5
