Just wonder anyone have experience sps tips show a bit white off colour

is it some sign of STN or some growth

or due to lack of flow esp if the colony branches

are fully close to one another

expert WL told me abt zeovit ###### up KH on the system sorts of kick in.

KH usually causes STN. my montis kenna liao. checked my KH. only 4.5 after i came back on biz trip!!!

Andysho, you have seen growth tips before rite? Usually its off-white and very different texture from a tip that is experiencing STN. Like you mentioned previously, u have been following the zeovit guide strictly rite? then STN is a very remote possibility and what u r experiencing is growth.

The zeovit guide is just a basic guide, you must observe the reaction of your corals in order to know how much to dose.

How abt some clear photos to let us help you?

If it is lost of tissues at the tips then in this case after some time it will turn a bit brown as algae starts to grow on it. In this case it could be caused by zeovit overdose.

If it is new growth then the above will not happen.

I think it's pretty common for some acros to show white growth tips. I posted some pics on my tank thread. you might wanna compare? My birdnest and staghorn's growth tips are white...
