i think a sally light foot crab will b a better algae cleaning tool...but will step on any thing dat obstructs its way...

don't think sally light foot crab is up to the task and worst still...it may attack your fish no doubt it is reef safe. think twice, thrice

my sally foot crab is very efficient...as long as theres enuff algae 4 them...they wont bother the fishes...a small crab will do...if nt turbo snails oso can...

i don't think its advisable to do that.

marine fishes are not like freshwater fishes.

they are more sensitive.

By stirring the sand, you could probably stir all up the dust that would suffocate the fishes to death, or even harmful gases build up in your DSB...

just my two cents..

I'm using the one by Tom's... actually many of the brands also alright... just dun over-do it if yours is DSB...
