from gold coast to great barrier reef

any1 ever drive/ride from gold coast to GBR???tot wanna ride up for 2 or 3days since b spendin at GC for 12dayz....

how abt the bike rental any1 knoes....is it cheap?? i knoe some harley but the $$$

I drove once from Goldcoast to Sunshine coast and its almost like singapore driving to KL.....

Explore up to Sunshine Coast and then come back down to Brisbane before catching your flight home lor.....

The 3 places of GoldCoast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane should be able to fill your 12-13days easily.

mayb shld ride to SPRINGBROOK NATIONAL PARK.....quite near 1day can finish tour there hehehe

just came back from GC for my honeymoon. the theme parks are boring sia. The good ones (Dreamworld, Wet n Wild) are too crowded, must wait for a long time for rides. The lousy ones (Movieworld) are pretty low-budget and not v interesting. Plus souvenirs in GC are expensive due to the tourists and the Aussie dollar.

If you have almost 2 weeks, suggest you take a flight up to Cairns and spend a few days there. You can get a boat ride out to the barrier reef from there. You can't get to the reef from GC, it's too far.

Brisbane itself is ok lah, rather sleepy town like Perth.
