Hi Reefer,

Currently, i'm driving Honda Stream 1.7A and happy with their good service provided whenever i send my car for servicing :whistle .

Due to COE is at the low side, I intend to purchase a New car with a higher cc. :yeah::lol::D My wife suggest to buy Nissan Cefiro bcos she like it, and i did tested drive on last Sat. So far, My own comment on the car performance is @ the positive side :lol: but my friend told me that Nissan Service is No Good ;) . (Refer to service Centre).

SO, i need some comments or reviews on the above mentioned Car? and their (Tan Chong) service?

Hope tany reefer, who currently driving New Cefiro can input some comment..

Thanks

driven my boss cefiro a couple of times.....smooth ..quiet... very comfortable car.

Easy to drive....tend to forget it uses foot brake instead of handbreak.....so got to remember to release it when you drive off......

only downside....a little more suitable for business man and uncle....I dun really want to be seen driving this kind of car.... yet. ;)

v6 engine... sweet....

all the controls and knobs within very easy reach and very user friendly dashboard actually..

hmmm dunno abt the petol consumption though... better go check it out before u buy.. i guess u should know how the sunny fairs in terms of petrol consumption with regard to other cars in it's class... :pinch:

servicing at TCM is err... good la less for the few scratches made on the bonnet of my dad's car.. most likely due to them changing the wipers during servicing.. :cry2:

and they actually denied causing the scratches! <_< but all in all... they provide good service..

DB,

I'm already 1 more inches to reach that age.. ;)

Regards to foot brake... my paiseh experience :paiseh:, Seaching high and low for the handbrake after the test drive until the saleman ask me what am i look for ! :paiseh::paiseh::paiseh:

diabolus n shiraz,

It's QR20DEin-line 4 CVTC for Cefiro 200JK and 230JM is VQ23DEV6 CVTC !

230 is more smoother, powerful and quieter than 200JK but i don't dare to buy........

Reason..... My boss is driving 1.6L car only so 2.3L is tooooooooo ;)

Anway, It is a very comfortable car that suitable for family ###### biz

Hope to receive more inputs and comments b4 i make decision !

thanks..thanks..thanks.. :D:bow:

reminds me of a incident in poly...

i was diving to school one day.... borrowed my uncle's car.... he soft of pass to me as he is one of those kind stay at private house with not enuff space to park inside the house... he got 3 cars.... he can only park 2 inside.... he will be on an overseas trip for about 2 weeks....

so i get 2 weeks to drive his car.... anyway back to.... i was driving to school.... i parked in the car park lot.... when i came out of the car.... i saw the car parked beside me is my lecturer's car... a fiat uno... damn old kind.... at same time he came out of car.... and was looking at my car with big eyes..... i was so paiseh....

a Merc Benz S350... i was driving.... :P

:off::off:

back to the cefiro..... personally... its more of the name and image of the car that turns me off.... cefiro... sounds like something fatty in some dialect.....

i notice nissan has a tendency to recall cars more than any other brands.... or maybe i got more relatives driving nissan... (sunnys and pickups....)

i would think u can get better with the same price range?? prob can look into mitsubishi???

well, i would say that being a Nissan, the petrol consumption will be on the high side compared to the hondas and toyotas.

I have not own any Nissan before, only Subaru...so i cant speak much abt their service quality.

But for the same amount of moolahs...i would go for the JDM Honda Accord or the Toyota Camry.

actually for the older camry, there is a very obvious bodyroll especially when doing high speed cornering.. :erm:

don't know abt the newer ones though.. :P
