Collector's item - Anthony Calfo's camera

I believe this sort of thread is pretty rare.

It is a Canon Powershot G2 used to take most of the pictures in the book "Reef Invertebrates" and the camera is autographed by him.

Have not decided to sell it but I wonder how much it would fetch.

And I also wonder whether this is qualified as a "collector's item".
