True Percula refuses to move.

I just added a pair of mated true perculas in my new tank four

days ago. and since then, both of them have been staying in a corner of the

tank. whenever I have my metal halides on, the female percula seem to look

upwards, and swim upwards but the male is more curious about it's surroundings.

When I feed them, the the male percula feeds well, but the

female just selects some food, chew them and spit them out. For your info, I

fed them brine shrimp and some pellet food. They have been together in 1 corner for days. are they spawning? What can I do to let the female

percula feed and not stay in that corner forever? Thanks.

It is normal for True Perc to stay at the same spot.

Just make sure that they feed and slowly they will be more adventurous liao. ;)

den how do you guys make your new clowns feed?

i think i m having the same problem as mention above!

I don't 1 to see my new clowns die!!!! :cry2:

You can try Henry's Food. It is been used by lots of us to tempt even the most finicky eater!

In fact, seeing his Moorish Idol in his display eating his food is already convincing enough liao. ;)

i also had problem getting my true clown to feed......basically, i've tried about 4 brands of pellet, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, live brine shrimp, nori...etc.....

eventually it settles for marine pellet formula 2......wasted almost as much money buying the food then buying her.....:P
