400W MH Bulb Recommendation?

Hi all,

very tempting to change me MH to 400W after seeing scarab's delicious tank... Anyone got a good bulb to recommend??

Will probably go for 10,000KK...

I used to run the 400w radiums- looks really nice but loses out on the PAR.

BLV the usual too yellow. My T5s cant balance that out.

i got a brand new SE 400watts BLV 10kk bulb. pretty alrite but of course, they are abit yellow. but they produce alot of PAR.....compare to 14k or 20k bulb.

if u want growth, go for the sakis....

if u guys need them, do let me noe.

I strongly recommend the XM10k bulb... it's got very high PAR... comparable to the Iwasaki 6500k bulb... and its much whiter!!!

Sounds good... at last a 10,000KK bulb dat's not so yellow... was tinking of using 3x blue T5s to balance out the yellow in a 10,000KK bulb... would that do??

The Hamliton 14,000KK sounds interesting too! After all, I'm using the 250W one now... quite like the colour....

Anyone knows the PAR difference between the XM10KK and the Hamliton 14KK??
