hi guys, i went to lfs and bought this mushroom thinking it was discoma because i didn't see the blue spots underneath the low light in the lfs

but wen i put in my main tank, under bright lights, i see the blue dots

i'm pretty sure they're not discoma, so can someone pls help me ID them?

thank you

they are discosoma ( speckled mushroom )

they dont respond well to strong light and current.

In fact FL light and low current allows them for max expansion and reproduction

which is more popular or more commonly seen?

the complete red one or mine?

it all up to each one.

if there are more ppl like complete red therefore the LFS will bring in more red type

it all about the demand and supply

in return how offen have u seen the bi- colour type .???

hahahha

Bro, actually, with no offence to sunny03, tink they can survive well with stronger lights too, coz I keep mine under 250W MH, so far no problem too!! So dun get overly worried if u got strong lights... :P

yeap

i put them at the bottom of the tank under same lights as you bro

they're opening up nicely
