Putting powerhead within Life rocks

Saw a few design where the reefer actually put the PH among the rocks.. kind of conceal it...except the PH head protruding out.

any comment for this design? Bad for maintenance?

Me currently trying to re-aquascape..as there a mantis problem in my tank..

so take this opportunity to try out new concept.

So far any reefers here try this without problem??

I have place 1 x seio 820 and 2 x seio 620 this way. I simpley place them in between stacks of Lrs or corals.

I find that this way eliminate the CCTV camera look. However, it does has some minus point in which the deritus from the LRs on top of the PH are constantly blow around the tank rather than settling down to the bottom of the tank.

I am thinking of following ###### display tank concept of putting a Tunze onto the rocks and conceal it..btw..any idea how long the wire of the Tunze is?

My tank specs

3 ft (length) 3ft (height) and 2.6 width..

15mm thick

but problem is Tunze Turbelle® stream 6060 too strong for this..
