How To Decorate Fowlr Tank?

I dont think I am able to maintain a coral reef tank since I'm pretty new to this hobby. As such, I only have FOWLR tanks but I have been mocked by a 'high n mighty' regular here saying that my tank is so ugly that he would commit suicide if he was a fish in my tank. Although it is a very blunt insensitive cocky instigating statement, after much thought, it holds a wee little teeny weeny bit of water. But I have oredi purchased hundred of bucks worth of live rocks so how do I decorate my FOWLR tank so that it looks amazing huh? or actually fowlr tanks are supposed to look like that?

I dont think I will be selling of those LR and getting new ones cos from where I come from, marine hobbysists are only a handful.

have not done anytik yet. just added 4kg LRs.

maybe u can add seafans, turtle weed to liven

my suggestions,

u could probably change yer sand as it looks too fine and yellow,

probably get a #1 sand that cost $10 for 10kg (but in singapore)

change yer light to 10k to make the tank look more white

aquascape, look at other pples tanks or coral reefs and copy ideas.. shd try to use big rocks as the base and smaller rocks at the top. lightly stack them to give it the natural look. have lots of caves so yer fishes can swim thru

IMO since it is a FOLWR i would try to make as much cave and hole in the scaping as possible......... As this would provide fishes to hide and have its territory
