My cousin (lady) has a yellow Elise (3 months old). I only saw if but dare not ask to sit inside, scared I dirty the seats. Very power and $$$!

the lotus is not exactly powerful, but becos of its power to weight ratio, its very fast indeed.

One thing to look out for is the cost of repairs to the car's body, since most parts are carbon fibre(to reduce weight) its going to be very costly when you get into an accident.

Overall, a special car if you have no commitments...but for the kind of price, its expensive.

another thing,dun go to those car wash if you are driving one...the water seeps in like nobody's business!

the new 111R doesn't seep water in....

has improved roof seals... but with such a small car... y would u wanna go car wash....

lotus only got 42 owners in singpaore....

hehee... wonder how yr cousin gets in and out of the car....

not trying to be a sourgrape or something... but i think elise is like a go-kart car lah. small and low. difficult to go in/out of the car too. not ergonomic. But i do agree that it's a sports cars.... ergonomic is not part and parcel of pure breed sport cars.

i'm sure the owners wouldn't want to be near a lorry/tanker.
