How much will u pay for a NORMAL maxima ?

Hi,

I am a clam-crazy guy and was wondering how much would one normally pay for a normal size [3-5"], and colour maxima ?

Is there any stock in LFS recently ? saw some at LCK110 but that was sometime back.

Once again depend on grade.. If normal looking den i wun buy it If luminous blue and have slight patternden the most i pay is 30-40.. If ultra and nice i dun mind 100+

Actually colour is rather subjective. Some people may prefer blues/greens (which are common) over blacks (eventhough these are rare).

eh how you know i love black..... black maxima with eletric blue stripes.... If black i dun mind to hit 200 if really nice.. if dirty black den $10 also dun want

so how can we get our hands on the blacks ? Any LFS well-known to bring in these clams ? ultra-grade type ?

The black with blue stripes you are refering is quite common.

It's coming alot from the Clam farm in Marshall islands.

The "real" black that is harder to find, is the deep black (not deep brown, deep purple etc.) with white stripes.

For the price, it's all depends on the grade.

While Maximas in general are not so common in the trade, for the past year, as the Croceas, they are also captive bred, but the farms can not keep up with the demand.

There are no good and steady flow of high quality Ultra Max.

For a good Ultra Max I'd pay 3 digits numbers.

same here... I wont mind if they are good. however, I being asking a few LFS recently. It seems like the price will be somewhat around 200++ bcoz of the demand/supply issues

how about a bulk buy ?? any takers ?

back in 2002, a normal 6"~8" maxima cost not less than $60 (normal brownish colour)..... now, cannot even find such big maxima...

this i agree, back in 2002 with all those hugh shipements, i remember the shop just below farm mart, have long stretches of maxima's in various colours and large sizes and all costing around 30-60 dollars...*sighs*

maybe it's due to they dun do selling to local market.

CF is expensive and inaccessible without car but i prefer to purchase most of my LS over there cause of the stability of the stocks

yes CF is very expensive! ( in my view) been there 3 times, always empty handed.
