is it a anemone carrying hermit crab???

I have one b4 and wasn't aware of it that it is not reef safe. Darn shop say it is okay. But it rampage everything in its paths. Coral, rocks, fish..... :pinch:

I have to donate it away to a FOWLR tank.....

Yah, better put it in a sump or give it away. Not safe if u have shrimp, small fish and feathers, it is pretty destructive....

Otherwise, get an ID on it for us to see..... there are plenty of info on crabs from www.liveaquaria.com

Hi just wanna ask do hermit crab , pick on tube worm , climb on open brains , trample over star polys and fight with boxer shrimp?

wanna know cuz my hermit crab is like THAT ! ! ! (headache)

King hermit will try to pull out the tube worm for makan. Yes, it will climb over corals that are stationary like brains etc but not those branching type. Fight with boxer shrimp, never encounter b4. But it will definitely fight and makan crab.

King hermit crab have white strips parallel to their legs. They come in Red, blue and black. They can grow to the size of >2".

I had a blue legged hermit and its horrible. Climb on the rock and push my xenia to fall twice and one he himself fell onto my anemone. With him around, my coral and anemone never dare to open up fully. Gave it away.

Now had a fire and skunk shrimp, much much better though they really like to mess up the coral to rid "parasite" if any. A neccessary evil..
