i also wanna keep them.... but hard to mix with fishes.....

put in a fish... mintues later.. "WHAT FISH?!?!" no fish left.....

so wad happened to your old frogfish???

from wad i know... they are not photosynthetic... so dun think they need light...

DUH!! *crow flys over head*

feeding... er... if u dun want yr frog fish grow so much.... feed one or 2 fishes every 3 days?? prefeably some cheap marine fish....

think it will be cruel to decapitate a damsel b4 feeding it... =P

had a fren who managed to wean his frogfish to frozen fish....

but will need to dip hand in tank and wave the frozen fish in front of the frog fish mouth... SPOILED BRAT!!! :P

Err... u kept clownfishes and damsels with ur frogfish?

Are the damsels intended as food for the frogfish?

No wonder they all swim in the upper level and hide behind the piping...:D:lol:

Cheap tank may not mean a good tank.... we are always advised on checking the credentials of tank makers properly first....

We hv to be careful when tank makers quote at low prices.... gotta ask urself and the tankmakers a few more detailed questions:

1) Does it mean a cheaper material make? Type of wood for the base stand is important... Most people use Chenggai or at least Kapo.... what wood is used for the base?

2) Workmanship?

3) Type of silicon used and the curing process?

4) Piping works.... Two inlet pipes?

Juz my two cents worth...

Ur tank is the most important piece of equipment.... which will carry the weight of ur water, rocks and all.... It will be more costly if, to save a few dollars initially, u end up with an inferior made tank that may break in the long run.... ;)

Cheers! :)

pardon for asking. most tank makers WILL claim that theirs are japan glass.

as a blur costumer like me ,how to tell the glass quality? comparing price doesnt help.one can just jack up the price but still using local made glass, just like the rest. i have seen a friend who ordered a 5 footer. look at the wood color its whitish/biege.you can figure out yourself the wood quality. opinions needed here. i am thinking of upgrading my tank ;) thanks

Gosh... its really subjective... and I can't really tell also... whether Japan Glass or not...

I usually fall back on testimonies from the "Old birds" here.... and their recommendations of tank makers...
