yep yep. called them, but they are asking for $800 to fix a 2k laptop... hmm.... abit over the top lahz

I was quoted more than $700 to replace my Whitebox notebook mobo abt 2yrs back, decided not to repair cos I don't want to be "ka-tok" by them.

hi,

u can bring your notebook to Sim Lim square. couples of shop there repair notebook. usually at the back alley lane.

u can ask thim to quote you.

for security reason my advice if you need to let your notebook repair and left overnite and you know you have sentitive data inside ask them to take out the harddisk and you will bring it back when they have replace the mainboard for you.
