Questions on Biohome

Dear Bros and sis,

I am currently having a 3ftX1.5ftx1.5ft tank with Bulit-in Bio Filtration System, water capacity is around 120-150 litres. I am currently having 1 kg of red biohomes, cermic rings, coral chips and carbon in my filter system. Right now i am thinking of removing the cermic rings cos find it useless in the tank and replace

it with 1 more kg of white biohomes.

My questions are:

1) Is 2kg of biohomes(red and white) too much for a 3ft tank will it cause any side effects?

2) Is cermic rings usefull for a marine tank and should i remain wad i am doing now?

3) Or just add more coral chips to replace the cermic rings?

My FOWLR Tank Livestocks :

1 Four Stripe Damselfish

9 Ocellaris Clownfish(Nemo)

1 Tomato Black Clownfish

2 Akindynos Clownfish

1 Yellow Angelfish

1 Rusty Angelfish

1 Bicolor Angelfish

1 Coral Beauty Angelfish

1 Sand Goby

Tank: 3ftX1.5ftx1.5ft with Bulit-in Bio Filtration System:

Red Sea Prizm Skimmer:

Aqua FA410(3200L)&Dophin P2500(1500L) as return pump

Hi,

I am currently using a built-in Bio filter. Does Biohomes need to be place in dark area for better peformance?
