Poor fishes... :cry:

I won't give a hoot for LuoHans since they are easily kept, adaptable in reservoirs or rivers if they are released...

But Marine fishes? :cry::cry::cry:

the only sad thing is LUO han is so hardy and dominating that they will dominate our own natural eco system....causing a lot of unique and special local species to be extinct.......hmm...imagine..Singpore....river of KOKTAO fish...keke...... <_<

from what i heard

they even have salt in different "grade"

if you buy this, just need to cycle the tank for 1 day as all supplements are there

else, buy this, you need to cycle for 3 days

or you can also try this which is cheaper but need to cycle for 1 week (not really sure about this though as was quite far away)

:pirate::fear::unsure:

Also went to Aqua*ta* last Sunday. I saw that lady mentioned by one of the brothers here, selling some "nemos" to some gleeful children who were accompanied by two adults. I think they know nuts about advising those people on how to keep their fishes as they don't have the time explaining and are more interested in sales. ;) But nevertheless, I'm quite happy browsing their stock. They have quite extensive range of aquarium peripherals at reasonable price. Best of all they are selling the Marine Environment salt mix ($14/- for 2kg) that has been rated almost 100% close to natural seawater by an independent audit in the USA as the best salt mix around. Got one myself and yet to mix it.

Also went to Marine I*ag* which had just rented a small shop for the marine fish section, compared with their pet shop nearby. I can't believe this shop, it is so small, yet it still want to set up a partition to display a few puppies to onlookers. The shop owners didn't realised that people went in to see what's in store for them and not to see those doggies. If they want to put doggies around, their pet shop is just right infront to house them. That section could be used to stock marine equipment, etc, etc. With that kind of setup, they still want to advise newbies on setting up marine aquariums and how are those newbies (considering their limited knowledge of LFS ard) suppose to get the right stuff when they can't even provide some of the basics. I also got to see their live rocks which look dull because they don't have that good corraline algae.
