Colour of Skim Water is Pinkish

Hi, realise the water residing in my skimmer is pinkish in color. Is that ok? Just curious.

did you do the salt mix?

buy it somewhere?

you see, one of my friends bought a pack of seawater from re***n some time back... he skimmed out blue skimmate... we concluded that the water contains medication.

Maybe its the time of the month for one of your lady fishes? Just joking. Best show a pic so that we can see the shade of pink. I do know that a very light pink skimmate may indicate that your coral may have been dyed before.

did anyone notices that Iwaran* the anemone tank also got pinish skimmate by the weipro..

My guess is that you might have introduced some soft corals that are brilliant pink in colour, or some other dyed corals in pink? Can u verfiy this?

agree with bonjour..me have this problem before... fews day later after i add in few soft corals n anemones...was too afraid tat i changed partly of the water... few days later no more pinkish
