ML also has the coolest technique of catching fish.

He uses a a pair of something real long and thin, no hair wth a tappered mushroom head. ;)

it's called a strainer. :P

I have a few of those lying around at home too. good to use strainers to catch as they supposedly will not damage the fins or any extensions of the fish if they were to be caught, as opposed to using normal cloth nets.

speaking of T95, his son is call raymond. I being buying giantic clams from them since 2 years back.

I think they bring in stock on thursday, sometime sat itself.

The ah-pek may tok u once in a while but generally, their prices is super negogiable. I always get a discount of 20-30 dollars if I buy around 150 dollars worth of corals [during the early days of my shopping].

I got a >10kg squasmos [a bit longer than 1 ft] from them before.

And one last thing about that ah-pek, he 'accidentally' sold me a stone full of green/brown yuma [nearly 9-10 frag] for SGD5 ** haahhahaaa*

anyway, not that I want to eat him but .....

anyway I think the price are pretty good. infact, quite attractive.

place for hammer, and branch etc.

Since i started a thread at Kopi Tiam section (thought anything goes in there, and precisely because of that i post it there and not here) with GOOD INTENTIONS for LFS that considered not up to par to better-up it service(s) and thread was immediately closed. And since was referred here, might as well ask the same thing : -

"As part of the continuous efforts to upgrade, it is also essential that LFS upgrade so that they can serve customers (US  ) better...

Perhaps the reason(s) why you dislike that shop so much; it services, stocks, water condition of its tanks, bogus reports of stocks so that everytime when you go there there is little or nothing at all, dying corals & fishes etc...so that they (LFS) may improve (hopefully)... "

i would really hope reborn improves on stocking conditions...i feel everytime i go there its very sad, you see lots of fishes overstocked with ich, swimming upside down or already dead

i'm glad they started a new branch for corals so got more tanks for fishes

but conditions to improve or deprove remains to be seen

but i like the fact that they always have 10-20% discounts on their products upstairs

recently enquired schuran jetskim 150...40% discount price comes to about 600+!

would have bought if not for the fact that some 师傅 of mine psychoed me into getting hns

regarding ocean planet....well....uncle sometimes can be deceiving(thinks is unintentional la)

sometimes he tells u "confirm eating!"...u ask him to feed sometimes he rejects by saying :"aie..i tell u eating means eating...can trust me!"

but be careful la....cos i did get fishes from him. some eat some dun eat(these r easy to keep fishes...not tangs or anthias)

then those that dun eat i must waste time weaning or they starve to death

so i hope he's clear on what he's saying

PS:if i offended anyone, (including the lfs), pls do not flame me. i am a customer with comments based on my own experience. either you guys see it as a comment for improvement (从善如流)or take it sensitively and get angry but either way, dun flame me.

Genuine comments from Shoelevy - no one will flame you.

Tigger is right in saying that those LFS who have "milky" tank  which may many a times harms the fishes + corals. The "milky" look is most certainly not aragomilk and certainly pose some risk buying the fishes and corals.
