I am a newbie to maximas...

Must I run chiller for maximas? Please advise..

normally you would have powerful lights for them, eg. MH....then it would be a good idea for you to have chiller to keep the temperature constant.....

but for T5 do I need chiller? I am worried about the temperature cos I am very new to maximas..

and once they are dead..my own tank is gone..

T5 will also heat up the tank.....for me personally, i feel that the importance of chiller is in keeping the temperature constant vs keeping the temperature low....no point using fan that can cool your tank to 25 degree if your fluaction is 5 degree....

What are your water parameters? enuff light for the light demanding clams?
