can some1 explain lumen & lux for the light we use in the tank? wat is the minimum requirement?

yesterday, i have read a book - it say light is count with lumen or lux... not by K.

K is only the colour.... confuse....

In my own word of understanding is that K is sort of the colour spectrum type of thing. ie the seven rainbow colour and the proportion of it. Lumen is light intensity and do not mixed lumen with the Kelvin, K. They are like apple and orange, cannot compare.
