So how important is lighting again?

Hi Guys, I tend to agree with the comments generally.. Water Quality/Movement first and foremost , then lighting. No use having 2 million watts of DE HQIs brighter than the sun but water quality is maintained by a tiny RSB or Weipro.

We gotta get real and strike a balance between the 2. Hopefully the balance is done with higher-end equipment. :)

HEY!!! I'm using a weipro 2012 for my 2 footer ....no3 is at zero with zeovit!!! don't look down on low-end equipment....:)

but personally i feel that lights is still a must.....not doubt SPS are coloring up using zeovit, but when i switch from MH to T5, the corals are not as intense as before....

Actually, for SPS, this mantra has never changed. ;)

As long as your water quality is good.... lighting is the next component to consider for quicker growth and better colours.
