yah the coral beauy is one of the nicest i have seen so far :whistle:whistle can take close up on maxima and the giant pink yuma

:thanks:

The Pink Yuma was badly damaged and is recovering in the sump. :( Sorry, not ready for photo yet.

The Tear Drop Maxima has been with me for about two years. It has grown from about 3.5" to 6". Kind of hard to get a close-up photo as it is in the center of the tank. Here's the best I could do at the moment.

Photo taken with flash. :)

Here's a under-the-hood look at the sump and equipment.

On the right, is the fresh water topup reservoir that is built as part of the sump tank. At the highest level, it can hold 24 litres of fresh water. Based on my tank's current evaporation rate, it should last me about 10 days. :yeah:

Above the reservoir, is the TUBBY mounted to the cabinet. Saves space and less messy wiring everywhere. :yeah:

On the left, you'd see a removable white shelf which I had requested my tank maker to build for me. This allows me to maximise the space above the main returm and chiller pumps. :yeah:

Bro, your sump cabinet super neat man. :yeah: Got time to come over and clear mine?

Really excellent stuff. Better not show this photo to my wife. It's a tough act to follow. :P

 Sure, no problem ... and while I'm at it, maybe I can help to clear some of the gems in your reef too ... ... I just love your reef and especially the Monti Cap waterfall feature.

Bro, it doesn't matter how my sump looks if I can have my reef half as beautiful as yours.

william...your discipline in reefing is really admirable.

Hats off to you. Looking at your tank...... clearly shows that you have put in a lot of thought to the final scape of the tank ;)

Totally glad to see you back after such a long absence...its great guys like you that gives our SRC and local hobbyist greater credibility ;)

:paiseh: Hello all, thank you very much for your kind comments. :paiseh:

Bro DB, I'm not sure I deserve the pedestal you've generously put me upon. Thank you anyway. :paiseh: I'm still learning and am no way near as advance or as knowledgeable as many of the senior reefers here.

Bro RAV-65 & typrobin, I've no intention for it to steal the attention away from the tank leh ... but I do want the cabinet/sump area to look neat. Else, I'll get a headache everytime I open the cabinet doors. Actually, I think it makes maintenance easier too. :D

Did you notice that there are no electrical power sockets inside the cabinet? They are all mounted behind the cabinet. That helps to reduce the messy wiring dangling everywhere. :D

Wishing Everyone A Healthy & Happy Lunar New Year!

Hi William I just caught sight of your thread recently, and I just wanted to offer my good wishes for your new tank.

I am still temporarily without a tank since my last house move. :pinch:

But I hope to restart my tank soon.
