Tats called zooxanthellae, not da pian!!! :P

Soft corals and hard corals have them because zooxanthellae are important components for reef building corals because they provide them with nutrition, remove metabolic waste, and contribute to the production of calcium carbonate skeletons. Those who have them deposit calcium carbonate 2-3 times faster than those who dont have them. ;)

But when a coral is stressed it will excrete them cause a stressed coral do not need so much zooxanthellae so they release them through their mouths.

so in short it ok lah..... anyway, just found out one of my damsel is gone...think that elephant just had a good meal.........now it growing bigger.....very scary!!!!!
