acceptable reading for ALK n KH

Hi everyone...

Can anyone advise me on e acceptable reading for ALK n KH??

Mine is a new tank running for 3wks liao..3small fishes,1Anemones,2 cleaner prawn added liao...

My test kit reading as follow:

SG-1.022

Temp-27.7degree

Time-1015H

RED SEA Test Kit:

PH-8.2

NH4-0ppm

NO2-0ppm

NO3-10ppm

ALK:2.5 meq/L

KH:7DKH

Im onli intending to kep LR,Fishes n Anemones. NO corals at all for e time being..

IS my reading for ALK n KH too low for tis setup???

Can anyone pls advise tks.....

Alkanity should be between 4-7 meq/l and kh should be 8-12 dkh. Looks like it's acceptable for the setup you got if you got hardy fishes like damels and clowns. Suggest you should increase the parameters above cos anemones are rather sensitive to water parameters.
