good father of two kids already...........

now going to become daddy again for hundreds of fry............

congrats.........

have it spawns yet?

if not try to use those type of cloth netting and put the fish inside........

see whether can anot lor............

feed them wif those green liquid plytoplankton of cylopeze or watever is small enough for fry to eat............................

Managed to find more info from other threads here .... the gestation period will easily take more than 13 days ..... will leave the male in my main tank first .. will probably leave it in my main tank dfor a few more days ....

Can shared how you tell tell are spawning and how are the eggs (assuming they are egg-layers) identified....etc ? Or PM me those info regards their spawning behaviour.

I have the same cardinals and noticed all acting strangely sometime lately but I don't have time to observe closely enough and didn't give much thoughts about possible spawning.

ha ha ... sorry, too busy just now when we met.

What I have observed is that the jaw's shape is different between male and female. The male lower jaw are more squarish comparing with the female one which are more pointed ....

I noticed that the male jaw looks much more orangy yesterday and when I tried to observe him, he actually will puch out a lump of small eggs intervally ... may be about every 15 seconds .... there's where I noticed that there's eggs in his mouth ....
