Micro creatures swimming in the tank

Hi everyone. Happy New Year to all.

I started my tanks slightly over 3 weeks now. Got 1 wrasse, 1 crab, 1 shrimp and 5 snails so far. Tank filled with LR and LS but no corals yet.

I noticed micro creatures (I think white in colour) about 1mm in size swimming around when the lights came on. They are disappeared after about 2 minutes (from light coming on).

Too small to take a picture. Does anyone have any idea what they may be? Do I need to quickly change water?

Thanks.

Those are pods ie copepods, amphipods etc they are beneficial to your setup. Fishes will feeds on them too.

When you have them, it seems that you have been patience as not to add to manay fishes at one go.

Congrats :D
