Overflow Box

Hi, just got an overflow box.

When I turn on my return pump, the water flow down from the overflow box in an impulse-like manner: first filling up, then flowing down in a short gust. This happens periodically. Is there anything I can do?

I think the durso pipe should have a tiny hole to allow for air to get in...

Eg. My durso pipe when I seal the hole with my finger the same thing happens.. gushing...

It has the small hole. still have the periodic gushing...

can show pic of your pump that bring water down and up from your tank to sump or vice versa?
