HI all,

this is alittle off topic from marine stuff. however, i do need help in drilling a few holes.

I actually live in punggol area and the new flats have aluminium door frames instead of wood i think.

The reason for drilling the holes are for the purpose of mounting a pull up bar. \

So far , i've tried unsuccesfully using some of the older drill bits i have. Am also just wondering if it would make i difference if i used a more powerful drill.

Any advises?

thanks alot

Silver

is not aluminium... is steel... normal high speed steel drill bit will

do.

Yes, agree it is steel,

try to keep the HSS drill bit as cool as possible (water or coolant) and

be careful when breaking thru,

HSS drill bit will blunt easily when drilling concrete.
