you can get clip on fans for the main tank.

according to reefers here who have tried the fans on the sump - no effect.

but be prepare to top up water every day...

if you are prepared to fork out the $$ for a MH, a 4 x T5 set is also good enuff for LPS, just upgrade to a 8 x T5 when you going to SPS, but still, its always best to keep your tank temperature to abt 27dc when you are keeping corals, be it LPS or SPS(definitely needs a chiller)

hmmm your suggestion is great for me.....

i will start a all fish tank first then slowly to Lps

im not going to keep alot of stock.... about 5 fishes... only.....

so your advice is to get 4 tube of T5 first right.... whats the wattage?

what colour will be good?... and how many K?....

do u know the cost?......

Why don't you talk to Dr Evil of DE Lighting, he will be able to work something out for you. His T5s sets are priced to be as close to you DIYing yourself.

I also get him to touch up (Beautify) my DIY MH, can never do it better than him...... sigh.......

if you are planning for a FOWLR set up, then no need to go for T5s, just normal FL will do. but like all advices for marine reefkeeping, always get the best you can afford. will cost much cheaper in the long run rather than keep spending $$ on upgrades.

check wif DE for lights, he can fix up for you or you can get the parts and DIY urself.
