What happened to my plate coral?

I noticed that in mornings especially when it rain outside or very chilly, my plate coral will be bloated up like below. Is it normal?

hey mine also like that before but it seem to be ok as after a few days . it will be ok. I also not so sure why like that......

they do that to move.... usually the move cause their in direct watter movement ornt happy with where it is being placed

Yes, I think that is very true indeed! I had actually tried to restict its movement by placing it in a "cove" with a small opening so as to make it stay there but it actually bloat and moved out of it! Very clever indeed.

Its long tentacles are causing it to move very much also. How to "keep" it in one location?

Like bubble gum said, it moves because it is not happy with its current location. If possible, why not just let it choose where it wants to live.

yup. mine prefers stonger flow but its directly next to my blastos

Try to give them lot of space as when their long tenticles expand, hey will somehow feel unhappy if contacted other corals...
