My Very Frist Marine Tank.

Hi: This is all i have and i know. Still green.

Tanks size = 130l / 2.5feet x 1.5feet x 1.5feet

Light = 2 x arcadia Marine white, High output lamp - running 8 hrs

1 x arcadia marine blue actinic.

filter = eheim 2217

Skimmer = orca 25

water flow = 1000l / hrs by Eheim and 900l / hrs by power head

tank life = 10 months

parameter:

Salinity = 1.023

PH = 8.0 to 8.5 ( diff in day and nigh )

NH3 = didn't measured

NO2 = ''

NO3 = ''

Ak = 10kHB (Aqumedi tester, dose seachem marine buffer)

Ca = 500ppm (JBL Ca testset) IMO not accurate

temperature = 27.5 to 28 Celsins ( 1 X AC fan)

5" DSB with 3/4" plenum below

Live Stock:

LR = 12kg

Leather sponge mushroom

flower sand anemone

leather mushroom finger

sea fans

hairy mushroom

soft polyps = red+green, red and green

green nushroom leaves

dwarf finger

knobbed and hone starfish

fire, boxer and cleaner shrimps

algae snail and sea unchin

4 danselfish, 1 tomato clown, 2 clark's clown, goby, and 2 others clowns(can't ID them)

Feeding routine:

1 meal per day by tetra marine flake food

supplement:

kent marine essential, saural strontium

seachem reef Ca and coralife invertebrate Ca supplement.

I used to use that skimmer until early last month....a lot of diff after upgrading to a slightly better skimmer:)

Patience ,you are right man . The tanks was cycle for three months, 20% water change every week. Untill now every thing is ok, hope it stay long. If my tanks is dead , i will do every thing again but now with the last exp.

No chiller, just fan. temp = 27.5 to 28. It already with me for 1 month. Like it very much hope it don't XXXX become 'bota"

yes, w/ 3 slot . RESUN TANK - bought it for planted aqu.

it is not the best tank for marine, one with overflow and sump will be the best.

where do u get lighting hood from with 3 FL, is it a 2 ft T5 FL? My tank is 80cm lenght( Ehiem tank ), very difficult to find a matching hood. very problematic.So, wat is ur total wattage? Thanks

I bought the tank for S$650 at year 2001 at that time tank are exp. All hard wear about S$400 and life stock S$ 250 or more - lost count.

BTW i think that is the min. you have to spend if you are into marine but it a good investment.
