Read that corals have sting

Hi, i read that some corals have sting and can kill one another... how do we actually differientate whether the corals have sting a not? And if they have where to place them? And for a nano setup with limited areas, how to u guys place them?

Trying to find out more b4 i start reefing... thanks for any help...
