increase calcium and KH

Once your mg is settled, you will need to slowly increase the KH to the desireable level, then slowly increase Ca. If you overdose Ca - KH will drop and if you overdose KH - Ca will drop too. ;)

an overdose is when there is too much of a particular nutrient in the water... too much cal would cause it to, 'snow' in your tank.. scientifically, pricipitate in your tank :angel:

Wats your Mg level? Should be 1200- 1250 min. IF lower than this, dose MG to bring it up to this level first than tackle KH. Mg is more important than most ppl assume.

Totally agree with u bro.Most kH problems can be traced back to Mg level.Priority of importance:

1)Mg

2)kH

3)Ca

It is ok to have low Ca but not Mg and kH.
