Question about Eels

Hi bro and sis,

i wanna find out more about eel before keeping them...here some questions

1) What do they feed on?

2) Can i keep them with lions?

3) Will they attack purple tang and koran angel?

4) any other points i need to note?

I wanna rearrangement my rock structure again...planning to keep lions and Eel with my current purple tang and koran angel. This time...i am lacking of ideas on how to arrange the rocks..my current tank pic in here..Tank pic

i wanna arrange it such as my fishes wun always hide behind the rock...and lower down the rocks to allow more space for lions to swim around...any bro or sis can gif some comments?

market prawns,squids,small eels can be fed on mysis,

most likely possible.

small tangs and angels maybe will fall prey.

4) any other points i need to note?

They have sharp teeth. :evil:

ok..i will try garden eel...no need to e reef safe coz i am keeping a fowlr setup.

eh...so far my dwarf lion never attack my Purple tang and koran angel. the purple tang even swim right pass the lion at times..

if it is a dwarf lion, then it shouldn't pose a thread to your tang and angel. but take note of the lion, it will gladly jump out of your tank when stressed.

if you want to keep garden eel, make sure you have a thick sandbed for them to burrow into.
