Hi! This is my humble, simple Reeftank that i like to share. 7mths young and still kicking . Its my third tank( started 2yrs ago from 4ft FOWLR--aro tank-- then 2ft with D.I.Y sump then now)

Tank specs:

Maintank: 3Ft x 2Ft x 2FT

sump: 3 x 1.5 x 1.5

using 50kg of all kinds of sizes LRs and 30kg mix grade 0/1 of sand

Atman 106(return pump)

protein skimmer: Marine Resorce(2nd hand)

lights: 150w 20k bulb/2x 24w artinic PL(8hrs from 5pm to 1am)

No chiller but use 2x profantic fan 24hrs

PH:3x cheap china brand for water circulation

Temp 28 to 29 deg....

Using jerrycan(25ltrs) as topup. D.I.Y gravity flow drip.

Water Parameter:

ammonia: 0ppm (checked 3mths back )

nirite: 0ppm

nitrate:25 ppm

calcium: 400(borrowed testkit from uncle)

pH:8.0

Addictive:

drip Kalkw 3days once

drip "calcium plus" from Blue Sea once a week.

pour 1 cap Trace Element (Fritz) once a week.

3 drops of iodide once a week.(AquaPharm)

Drip Reef Buffer(when needed)

live stock:

1 flame angel

1 yellow tang

1 blue tang

1 purple tang

4 green chromis

1 spotted hawk

1 pajama banggai

2 common clowns

(max sizes are 2.5inch big and no die off since day 1 )

coral:

most are LPS and Soft.

Future Plans:

install chiller

upgrade lightings.

Future Goals:

keeping casualty at low and go for mix colours(corals/fishes)

bought this open brain 3 wks ago, but not doing well in my tank. already place it in my sump last week and to make it easier for me to feed...

thinking to let go(if the price is right) or trade with something... Anyone?
