Hi, may I know is it really effective using this to prevent white spots and others diseases?

I not sure, but my tangs keep dying with white spots all over even with a good water parameter So giving it a try.

Same here my tang got white spot and I had lost 5 tangs liao.

I guess we need to properly quarantine them b4 put them into the main tank.

I saw this coralife UV (9W) at the 24 hours shop in CLementi asking for more than $100, dono the actual price, u can check with them there.

We had the same fate!!!

i have use it b4 and i can say it is a good stuff to have..

for a 4x2x2 it is good to have at least the 18W or 36W one.

check with Aquamarin as their coral life UV are one of the cheapest in town.

Reluctant to get new one, abit ex. Tats why try asking around for a second hand. Would be better if can from reefers upgrading, cheaper too

UV will help to a certain extend only.. they cant eliminate all ich parasites.... Once they are in the tank, no way to eliminate them except to remove all the fishes in your tank for at least 6 weeks
