Hi,

In an effort to know more about each other, I wish to see members giving a detailed rundown on their tank setups before they post photos of their tanks.

I believe photos tell a thousand words but sometimes, explanations are required. This section should not be just a gallery of photos.

I think some details to be included are:

Size of tank

Age of tank (inclusive of cycling period)

Water Parameters

Lighting systems

Filtration systems

Chiller system

Topup/calcium replenishment systems

Control systems

water circulation systems

Number/species of corals

Number/species of inverts

Number/species of fishes

If you wish to go into details about your tank setup process, your feeding and husbandry routine and other experiences related to your tank, please do so! :)

As everyone has their own budget and techniques in the success of their tanks, please do not refrain from sharing some tips or methods as I believe there are no 'experts' amongst us as we are all still learning!

Anyway, it's not a contest but it would be a good thing to benchmark how far we have gone on a personal level! ;)

I may eventually make it compulsary for members to post up their system specs so we can build up a database of Singapore reefers! ;)
