How to season a newly brought powerhead?

Helo bros! how to season a newly brought powerhead? was meant to used on my weipro sa-2o17, instead it is not skimming for 3 days liao....... change back to my previous pump... kopi or again... but not that powerful enough!

any way to remove the oil? or ways to season the pump?

run in warm water, or if you dare hot water for 10mins.

think it won't effect the peformance.... it just to remove chemicals that might disturb the skimmer from skimming......
